One of several Uranium glass vases we have listed this week- please be sure to see them all as we happily combine postage for multiple wins!A beautiful Victorian era free blown glass ‘Lustre’ vase with typical array of cut crystal ‘drops’. The vase has a gilt enamel trim that survives in good shape. An opaque white glass trim to the ruffled rim. This is super glow Uranium glass- it goes off like an alien frog in the UV black light as shown! I note the set of drops is complete ...however there's a slight variation in the cuts, particularly the apex of the points, some taper longer others are more squat in shape? Barely noticed however and these may well be just variations in the hand cutting process.Excellent quality and in fine condition. Light rubbing to the gilt trim otherwise excellent The usual fine chips and flakes from the drops but this is pretty much standard to these.
