I have loved and collected vintage and antique fine and costume jewelry and assorted items, and have decided to downsize. All of the items listed are from my own personal collection. Listed for auction today is a very rare antique vase. It is clearly marked on the bottom with a dark green mark dating the vase to the late 1800's into the very early 1900's. It is also signed MR which is Martial Redon. This fabulous vase is my favorite find and it measures about 9" tall x 3 1/2" and i...s a footed moon canteen. It is footed and also has handles which are branches or stems with flowers! The body of the vase is rich baby blue with lavender to white dogwood blossoms! The bottom 1/3 is hand painted with bright gold, heavily trimmed around the vase. The mouth is white porcelain with more hand painted gold trim. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks or crazing! Stunning find.....
