Antique English Mechanical Key Wind Carriage Clock - ACG - Brass & Glass - Runs.

A gorgeous English made brass cased carriage clock, movement has ACG within an oval, the only reference I can find on this mark suggests Huber (WJ) who was a London maker....r>Featuring a hand made 8 day timepiece movement set into a solid brass case, the white enamel dial is in good condition, no chips, it has roman numerals with an outer ring indicating the passing minutes, and fitted with period blued spade hands, a sign of quality.
A glorious luxury design that will be at home displayed in any property.
Dimensions: 4 1/2" high (excluding handle) 6" overall x 3 1/4" wide by x 2 1/2" and weighs 1170g.
Please see photos for condition, case has a natural patina but would gleam with a polish. White enamel dial has no damage, nor does the case.
Overall a very attractive piece, complete with key, a stylish high quality item, ready to sit proud in any good home.
