Exquisite vintage Unterweissbach porcelain figural grouping depicting an elegant woman who is reading a book on a white settee with gold rim and accents. She is taking a moment away from her studies to feed her beloved white parrot a treat. This charming lady wears a stunning white gown that is covered in a plethora of powder blue and white Dresden lace with porcelain floral embellishments. Her ornately-sculpted face is turned to the side, which primarily hides her coy expression. A lo...vely piece of 1940's German Porcelain! The underside of the figurine is marked with the blue "H S" Unterweissbach symbol. This rare figure measures approximately 7 inches (tall) x 9 inches (wide) x 5-3/4 inches (deep). There are a few minimal losses to the Dresden lace, most of which are on the right side and rim of the gown (see photographs).
