This listing is for a French Limoges porcelain covered soup tureen by A. Raynaud Ceralene in the Festivities pattern. It measures 9 1/2 inches or 24.1 cm cm high to the finial on the cover and is 16 inches or 40.6 cm wide from handle to handle.It has a high white glaze ground with a striped green border with swags of ivy and decorated with blue and pink bows. It is all hand painted and further accented with heavy applied gold highlights. The cover has molded leaf designs and a flower ...form finial ad ribbing on the handles. It is marked on the bottom with a blue circle and rooster along with "CERALENE", and green "LIMOGES FRANCE" and the letter "R". It is also marked in printed script "MANUFACTURED AND DECORATED IN THE CITY OF LIMOGES FRANCE BY A. RAYNAUD ET CIE".The tureen in in excellent condition, and ready for your home or shop.
