EARLY 1800s PONTILED FLINT GLASS HAND BLOWN TEAPOT SPOUT INVALID FEEDER PAP BOAT

This is a rare early 1800s blown flint glass pontiled teapot shape invalid infant feeder with crude applied pour spout and applied handle......free blown with round main body....applied pour spout and applied handle with glass drip at base of handle.....flared out opening with ground polished mouth.....ground pontil scar on bottom.....2 1/2"tall x 6 1/2"long.....Excellent shiny nice condition with no chips or damage. Nice and clean with only a ring of light haze in very bottom. I... would date this early invalid feeder to the 1830s or 40s. It would have been used for feeding broth & soup to invalids or infants. It came from an old New England collection of early blown glassware & bottles most of which were made before 1860.
