OriginalWWI Sanke Postcard #596 ofOberleutnantRitter von Schleich  von Schleich was ahigh scoring ace of the Imperial German Air Service with 35 victories andwinner of the coveted Pour-le-Merite. He was the commander of Jastas 21and 32 and Jagdgruppe 8.  He was awarded the Knight's Cross of theMilitary Max-Joseph Order making him a Knight.  He fought against theCommunists after the war and joined the Luftwaffe in 1933 attaining the therank of Gen...eral der Flieger in Norway.  He died in Nov.1947.  This card shows a von Schleich in his his dress uniform proudlydisplaying his Pour-le-Merite. Card is in ExcellentCondition with no silvering and clean back
