This is a small, advertising premium / give-away pocket mirror. The back is made of celluloid on tin, and it pictures silent film / stage actress, GAIL KANE. In addition, it is marked: "AMERICAN FILM CO." The American Film Company (AKA "American Film Manufacturing Co." and "Flying 'A' Studios") was in business from 1915 to 1921. During that time, Gail Kane starred in a handful of films and continued to act on stage. This mirror measures 2 & 3/4 inches by just under 1 &...amp; 3/4 inches. The condition is GOOD.The celluloid back displays nicely with some minor wear & soiling. The mirror side has streaks, stains and clouding.
