Kiss 1980 Tour Silver Plate Coin. 1980 Aucoin Australia. 1.5 Inch Round. Condition is Used. Sent with Australia Post Standard Service.
Distributed by Bailey Mint Australia for Aucoin in 1980. 3 different designs (variants) were made because they were originally designed to feature Peter's face before he was replaced by Eric. The 1st coin is the rarest and has Peter's face over-stamped with Eric's original 'big bird' make-up, the 2nd is the next rarest and has the 'big bird' make-up ...struck from a newly created die and the 3rd is the most common one featuring the 'fox' make-up.
This coin is the 3 RD variation.
It is also silver plated which sold in significantly fewer numbers than the gold plated version. It is thicker than the standard coin as well.
