Vintage Malibu Pottery Tile
Description and Item Information
Up for sale is this vintage California art pottery tile. Please excuse the glare in the photos. This tile measures approximately 7 3/4 inches by 7 3/4 inches by 5/8 inch. It weighs 2 pounds 5.8 ounces, unpacked. This patterned tile has multicolored glazes. The tile is made of buff clay. This would be a great addition to a collection of American art tiles.
Identification
This unsign...ed tile is circa late 1920s. It was made by Malibu Potteries in Malibu, California.
Condition
This tile looks very good overall, with no cracks. There is very minor edge chipping, which does not detract overall. The glazed surface has some wear, with patches of dullness. Variations in glazing are as made. Please review the photos, and ask any necessary questions prior to bidding or buying.

1. Payments
Taxes may be applicable. The correct shipping address must be included with payment. Contact the seller before bidding or buying to find out about acceptable payment methods for local pickups or deliveries. Payments must be received within three days of the end of the listing, unless prior arrangements have been made.
2. Shipping
Good packaging is included; double-boxing is not necessarily included. Framed art will not be shipped unframed. The seller usually ships on Mondays and Thursdays. The merchandise will normally be shipped on the seller's next shipping day after payment clears. The seller is not responsible for the transit time once the merchandise has been accepted by the shipping carrier.
Shipping includes delivery to a physical address via a method of the seller's choice. If the buyer prefers a different shipping method other than that chosen by the seller, or if delivery is to a post office box, additional shipping costs may be required. At the seller's discretion, a signature may be required for delivery.
Shipping quotes must be requested prior to all international bidding or buying. For international shipping, there may be parcel size restrictions or prohibitions on certain classes of merchandise. Customs forms will not be falsified.
International buyers, please note: Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.
