It has a green under glaze mark of "V. F." and an over glaze mark from the Lewis Strauss & Sons Co. (L.S. & S.) I believe the pot dates to the 1890's.
It stands 9" in height to the top of the finial on the lid, and measures 6-3/4" across, from the tip of the spout to the back of the handle.
The pot has raised molded rococo style designs, and raised gold enamel flowers, scrolls and trellis designs. The spout, handle and finial have sponged gold. The front side of the pot has a central portrait of two cherubs.
There are no chip, cracks or crazing. There is a thin dark line within the portrait (I have included a close-up photo). There
is minor gold wear on the top rim of the pot, spout and on the finial.
