Offered for sale is this iconic, vintage, three piece set of midcentury modern Italian Murano Sommerso art glass vases by Alessandro Mandruzzato or Flavio Poli. Three unique but complimentary geometric designs in colors of blue, green and clear. Mandruzzato and Poli were both well known for producing these designs and, in the absence of original sticker, it’s not possible to determine the artist’s workshop.- Hexagon shape (6-sides) vase: 7.75” tall- Diamond faceted vase: 6.50” ...tall - Square (4-sides) vase: 6.25” tallOverall condition is sensational; rare for highly polished and crisp edges to remain undamaged all these years. These were well cared cabinet pieces with very minor shelf marks. Hexagonal (tallest) vase has micro fleabite (see last photo) which I only noticed by rubbing my finger along edge - virtually indictable; no other chips, cracks, repairs, or other damage.Unsigned.
