Description: VERY RARE 1953 Clark Gable and MGM Signed Contract with James Spence Authentication certificate. This incredibly cool contract is a single page letter of agreement on MGM letterhead, dated November 19, 1953, in which Loew's Inc. sought permission to use references to Clark Gable in a screenplay tentatively titled The P.O.W. Story, signed boldly at the bottom by Clark Gable in black ink. It is in perfect condition and has been stored in protective plastic casing.
T...his piece just oozes Hollywood history with Clark Gable's name and signature and the original MGM letterhead. It deserves to be framed and displayed with pride on someone's home or office wall!

Collector, Steven Boyd, is headed to retirement soon and has asked me to dust off my keyboard to bring some of his favorite pieces to the Ebay community. Mr. Boyd has collected just about everything from sports memorabilia, music memorabilia, Hollywood memorabilia, art, rare books, and so much more.
Most pieces have excellent paperwork and pedigree to authenticate, and all items are guaranteed to be authentic and accurately represented. Our plan for listing is to trickle items over the course of the next 6-months so that it is not an overwhelming task and that each buyer may be given the time and attention to answering questions. Our goal in pricing is to ensure fair and reasonable pricing for both the buyer and the seller, and the Buy-It-Now price should not discourage bidding upon these no-reserve auctions.
With Mr. Boyd’s permission I have decided to include a select few photos of his museum-like home so that would be purchasers may hold an understanding and appreciation as to this unique collection. It should be noted that that some of these items have been exposed to cigarette smoke, but most are sealed and framed, and have been appropriately cleaned so as to not offend new owners. I welcome you to ask any and all questions, and look forward to finding good homes for these special items.
