Here's a pair of gorgeous Roseville Velmoss Scroll (or Velmoss I, as it's also called) candlesticks, circa 1917-1922. Each measures 8" tall and 4 3/4" across the flat bottom. The smoooooth matte finish has impressed patterns of flowers, stems and leaves that encircle the bottom, with only brown stems reaching up the neck of the candlestick. Condition on each is wonderful---crazing is absolutely minimal. There are no chips, cracks or apologies to note. No mark on... either piece, as this pattern dates to a time before paper labels or the beautifully flowing Roseville signature...and besides, Roseville collectors won't need to be told these are authentic. I'd say give this arts and crafts pair a gentle bath and display them on your Stickley sideboard...they're that nice!
