A very cool Vintage Corning Ware Brown or Amber Visions Glass 4.5 Litre Dutch Oven with matching Pyrex Lid. This line is also known as Visionware. The Visions line is glass made by Corning in the USA or France, from 1982 to 1993. Glass is known for the quality of being able to heat more rapidly, allowing you to cook at a lower heat setting and save on energy costs as well as being able to heat and prepare food more rapidly.
This Dutch Oven 10.5 inches in diameter, 14 inches wide wit...h the handles, 5 inches tall, and 7.75 inches tall with the lid on. The handles are stamped “VISION 4.5 L” and “CORNING U.S.A.” The Lid is simply stamped “7 PYREX”
Both pieces are in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks. The bottom shows some signs of utensil markings and and minimal markings from use on a burner. A well preserved example!
