This auction is for a RARE ANTIQUE BENNINGTON GLAZED POTTERY COACHMAN BOTTLE DECANTER - MARKED 1849. It looks like there are other words on the bottom, however I cannot read them because of the glaze. I can definitely make out the date of 1849. That makes this bottle about 170 years old. It is about 10.5” tall. It looks like there is a piece of wood and a piece of cloth stuck in the top like a cork. When I shake it, I do not hear anything rattling inside.This bottle is not in perfect... condition. There are a few chunks missing from his hat, and his nose is missing some glaze. He is also missing his right foot. There are a couple other small chips here and there. I included a picture of the unique area where there is a bluish green glaze.
