This is a vintage original 8x10 in. US single-weight glossy photogrpah from the popular 1920's comedy short, THE UNEASY THREE, released in 1925 by Pathe and directed by Leo McCarey. Produced by the Hal Roach Studios, this was a spoof of Lon Chaney's classic The Uneasy Three released the same year by MGM and directed by Tod Browning. A crook (Charley Chase), his moll (Katherine Grant), and her dimwittedbrother (Bull Montana) set about stealing a valuable jewel during a hi...gh-society party. Theyimpersonate a trio of musicians hired to play for the affair and when the realmusicians show up, the gang must not only convince the party-goers that theycan play the instruments, they must also persuade the party-goers that the realmusicians are crooks out to steal the jewel.
The image features an interior long shot of the Crook (Charley Chase) and the moll's brother (Bull Montana), both wearing a tuxedo, as they watch the beautiful but dumb blonde moll (Katherine Grant) as she pours water from a pitcher into the Crook's top hat while her brother laughs and the young child watches. It is in fine+ condition with random signs of wear on the top corners. There are no pinholes, tears, stains, or other flaws.
