This auction is for a medium green, iron pontil, unembossed or generic for paper label, jumbo, quart size, squat soda, porter or ale bottle. This bottle stands 8 inches tall and is 3.75 inches wide at the base. Its dimensions are the same as the small size squat sodas but this is the rare large size. Embossed examples never come up for sale anywhere, I know where there's two in a private collection and recently saw an example that was glued back from about 20 pieces and even that was i...mpressive. Good pontil, with all residue remaining on this one. The pontil is the same size as used on the normal or smaller bottles and it would take up most of the bottom on a regular size squat soda but since this is an over sized example there's lots of glass remaining all around it, that'll give you an idea of the size of this super squat.
