Original Description:
Great small, early, painted, miniature blanket chest. Wonderful dry original paint decoration on yellow paint. Circa mid 1800's with hand made oxidized square nails. The wood is pine. Has an escutcheon but not a lock. Solid condition with minor wear, chips and cracks as shown. The top has a slight warp. Measures just 13" long X 7" wide X 6" high.
