This is something I ran across and fell in love with it. I enjoy projects in my retirement. This is not just a flip for profit with no knowledge of the work done. I brought it back to life as if my own grans would be riding in it and of course as my eye saw it for color picks etc. Just finished with it now and want to build something else next. New linkage and variable speed spring loaded pulley. It works again like it did in 1962. Turn the control and the speed increases slightly. Bea...rings and bushings have all been gone through and repacked. New external wiring. The gear reduction box has all new seals. The retractable rollers work and have new rollers on them. I installed a 25w light in the cockpit over head, pick you color of bulb, it's red now. Blinking colored lights have been tucked up under inside the bottom body cavity to reflect against the sliver bottom plate. Not any effect in the daylight, but in the evening or in a playroom it has a nice effect. No coin box. That will be buyers choice to install if wanted. Works off a toggle switch but the wiring is there if needed to convert. I have more pics of the build and a video of all the mechanics working, rocking and rolling before the body was set back on. Not sure how to send, but if interested, I'm sure there is a way. Near as I have found, these were only made in 1962, so they are kinda rare. Shipping and or pickup will be buyers responsibility. Thanks for looking.
