We are listing today a lovely Vintage c. 1940 Emerson Catalin Butterscotch Bakelite Aristocrat 400 Tubed Table Radio. This radio is in Excellent Condition with very slight surface wear, some scuffs to the bakelite, slight loss to the green paint on the original metal handle, slight wear to the dial and plastic cover, some surface wear to a few of the white grills. When you plug it in the light does come on, no radio sound, the right dial does turn the diall but not 100% aro...und, back and forth it moves, both vacuum tubes look to be in working condition. You can refer to the pictures we guarantee 100% you will be more than happy with the overall excellent condition. The radio measures 8 5/8" tall with handle up x 7 1/8" tall without handle x 11" long x 6 1/4" wide at the handles x 5 1/2" wide without handles and weighs approximately 6lb 10oz. The radio has it's original serial # FC-5509271 paper tag. Wonderful butterscotch bakelite colors throughout. A great Art Deco form, designed by Norman Bel Geddes for Emerson.
