Up for auction is this TRUE ANTIQUE VINTAGE ROYAL ALBERT ‘Old English Rose’ pattern **CAKE SERVING TRAY** made of finest quality antique BONE CHINA produced in ENGLAND. Very pretty! HEAVY LAVISH GILTED GOLD, with EXTRAVAGANT GOLD TRIMMING. Stunning! Exceptional quality! This beautiful antique vintage HANDLED CAKE SERVING PLATTER (or Cookies, Sweets, Sandwiches etc) is rare from the t...rue ART DECO period. Entire edge decorated with ROMANTIC ENGLISH ROSES and adorned with extravagant heavy gold with elegant gold along rim. Very ELEGANT ROUND STYLE with 2 ORNATE FANCY HANDLES adorned with heavy lavish gold. Bottom stamp hallmark circa 1930’s time period. Apparently the Royal Albert factory ceased production of their extravagant gold line during the frugal wartime years in Britain.
In excellent near-mint condition, almost looks brand new, no crazing, there are no chips or cracks. This antique Cake platter has been loved, enjoyed and used in the years past, but almost looks new, may show some normal use — no damage. Beautiful antique piece.
