Thanks very much for visiting Flampman's auctions. We are a consignment based Ebay business selling things on behalf of hundreds of clients. Some of our clients are people clearing out their closets or liquidating their family estate. One of our clients is a local film and television production company that produces commercials, infomercials, instructional videos and more. I have for your consideration a VERY cool set of Italian glass...Italian grape carafe~genie bottles~ are not exactly abundant but they're out there...the glasses that accompany the bottles are nearly impossible to find. Look around.
We have from the late 50s early 60s this incredible glass grape carafe with stopper that's in PERFECT condition and 5 impeccable grape glasses. Incredible emerald green. Detailing is awesome.
Made in Italy sticker still attached to one of the glasses as shown. What's cool about this particular bottle is that it's footed. Look at some others. They're chunkier and have a different less refined silhouette.
The carafe measures 11" in height including topper and 4" in diameter and has a circumference of 12" at its widest.
The glasses measure just a hair under 3". In addition to being a GREAT part of this set they would make an awesome shot glass if you want to appear a little more elegant when you're getting hammered.
This is a GREAT set and it's hard to find. Don't miss out.
