Waterford Crystal began in 1783 in Ireland is synonymous with fine crystal. Powerscourt with it's intricate and decorative cutwork is understandably one of Waterford's most popular and sought after patterns.
Powerscourt is named after the 13th Century medieval castle,... now called Powerscourt Castle, in Enniskerry, County Wicklow, Ireland originally owned by the La Poer family (later renamed the Power family.)
Powerscourt, although retired, is still one of Waterford's most desired collections of all times.
