Sky Blue Masonic American Log Cabin Bottle - - Clevenger Mould
Item History & Price
About 1975, Clevengers had a Amstrong Booz mold refurbished, re-cut, and adapted to accept commemorative slug plates. Eliminated were "E.G. BOOZ 1840", the doors and windows of the cabin, plus the US government’s "Federal law forbids sale or re-use of this bottle". Added to the mold were "NORTH AMERICAN LOG CABIN" on the front and back roof, simulated logs on the sides, and a brick façade on the front and back to accompany the changeable slug plates. Between 1975-96 Clevenger made 16 different Log Cabin bottles. In 2003 this mold was sold to a private collector (Glenn Scott) and recently a limited number of bottles were handblown from this mold.
