Original Dave Christensen Backglass Concept Artwork for Bally "Future Spa"This is from the famed Bally pinball artist Dave "Mad Dog" Christensen's personal collection.. This is Dave's concept artwork for a Bally "Future Spa" pinball. Ultimately Bally used artwork by Paul Faris for the back glass while the playfield art would be Dave's artwork. This is really a cool piece in that it reflects how Dave would do his artwork before the age of computer art. He wou...ld make his rough draft and then use a cut and paste to edit the artwork, so this was his pre Photoshop method. This art is colored by crayon, yes crayon. Dave only did one painting of a backglass ever and that was Nitro Ground Shaker (which we also have from his collection). Every other piece of his art was colored by felt pin or crayon. Dave signed this 4 years ago when we purchased the collection from him. Photo's of this piece were given to the Internet Pinball Data Base. This is truly the ONLY one of this version that exists. This art is in good condition with "cut and paste" editing. The artwork has some signs of the many years of storage. Please look at photo's for condition. This artwork is a full size back glass approx 28" x 26". Perfect for framing and hanging in the office or game room. You won't be disappointed.
