This is a numbered WWI 1886 French Model Lebel bayonet with cruciform “epee” blade with different numbered scabbard in good condition. This bayonet has also been referred to as “Rosalie.” The bayonet is numbered “A80478” and the scabbard is “M9592.” The blade is approximately 20.5 inches in length. The tip is intact. Normal wear as to be expected. Engraving on base of bayonet reads “S.G.” The latching mechanism functions as should.
