This is a very old sheet, woven in the 1800s when the narrow looms were used, hence there is a centre seam to attach two pieces together to make one large piece. Sewn together with tiny hand stitches.
Fabulous large piece of ancient thick fabric..
Linen metis fabric (an ancient blend of linen and cotton) in an off- white colour.
Crisp and crunchy fabric whic...h is smooth to the touch.
The hems are handsewn.
A slender hand embroidered MR monogram in white, which is discreet and simple, though very well done.
The monogram measures 4 1/2" x 4"
Perfect for projects where a large piece of fabric is needed.

Dimensions: 80" or 204cm wide, by 116" or 295cm long.
Condition: Thick linen blend fabric with a storage mark along the fold, and some rust dots. Do see the photos. Plenty of ancient fabric left for projects!
