Up for auction is a Swedish Gustavsberg Argenta Pottery #1197 Mottled Matte Teal Cup & a #A25 Mottled Matte Teal bowl set with a matching silver foliage design was designed circa 1940's by Wilhelm Kage. The top rims are highlighted in silver. The cup weighs 4 ozs., is 2 1/4" tall, top rim diameter of 2 1/8" and a bottom rim diameter of 1 3/8". The bowl weighs 3 ozs., is 1" tall, top rim diameter of 3 1/8" and a bottom rim diameter of 1 7/8". On the bottom of the... cup is an anchor logo under Gustavsberg with Argenta 1197 under the anchor and made in Sweden as well. There is also an A & a V at the bottom of the hallmark information. The bowl has an anchor logo on the bottom under Gustavsberg with Argenta under the anchor and made in Sweden as well. There is also an A 25 H at the bottom of the hallmark information. The outside of the bowl have a vertical striped design.
- This little Gustavsberg Argenta cup and bowl set is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, flea bites or scuffs. The silver designs are mostly tarnished and I didn't try to polish them.
