This vintage blue carnival glass compote has very nice raised grape cluster and leaf patterns, a beautiful open lace type rim, a footed base, and comes with its original lid which has a finial type handle on top. The carnival treatment gives off beautiful hues of blue, green, and purple. I am not sure if this was made by Imperial or Indiana glass. It measures approximately 6 3/4" to the top end of the finial handle, by approximately 5 3/4" to 5 3/8" across at its widest points whi...ch is outer edge to outer edge of the lace rim. It is in very good condition, and has no chips or cracks. There are some typical manufacture straw/seam lines and mold imperfections which is simply how it was made, and does not affect its use or overall appearance in my opinion. Shipping is based on an estimated 3 pounds packed weight.
