From Ozploitation filmmaker John D. Lamond’s personalcollection of his own cinema memorabilia: AIRPORT ‘77 (1977) one sheet poster (89cm x 58.5cm) from thefilm's original Aussie cinema release. CONDITION: Creases and scuffs near the corners and folds, tapemarks, small nicks, tiny chunks missing... in other words, not great. But wouldlook completely at home in a Seventies dorm room! LAMOND COLLECTION”: I have beenasked by the family of the late Ozploitation pioneer John D. Lamond (Felicity, Australia After Dark, Sky Pirates etc) to help sell John’s incrediblecollection of film memorabilia – of his own films, as well as the mountain ofmovies he worked as publicist on (A Clockwork Orange, The Exorcist, Deliveranceto name only a few!!!) during his tenure at Roadshow in the early Seventies, and his own personal film-related mementos from a lifetime devoted to cinema. Why me? Because I was a good friend of John’s and a frequentvisitor to his Gold Coast home. Please keep in mind that all proceeds go tohelp his family cover the huge bills of his 24/7 care leading up to his sadpassing in late 2018. Starting Thursday 13th June 2019, I’ll be addingto Ebay literally HUNDREDS of posters, original artwork, press kits, b&wstills, personal mail with film giants, soundtrack LPs, books, scripts, shooting schedules, John’s own 8mm and 16mm film cameras!
