This is another beautiful example of 1890s majolica leaf form pottery produced by Griffin Smith & Hill in the Etruscan style. The colors and condition are excellent, with only 2 small flea bites.. There is also no wear to the glaze. Measures 8.5" by 8" wide and 1.5" tall.It does have the usual crazing one expects of any high fire lead glaze pottery, especially with age, but the crazing is very light and tight, and you have to bend the plate to the light at the right an...gle to even see it.
