______________You are bidding on what appears to be a nearly perfect REPRODUCTION of an ancient Mississippian pottery bottle featuring a poly-chrome pair of faces, a vessel like this might have been created around 1000 - 1540 CE. This piece is part of a large collection acquired from the late 1950's through the late 1990's and has been in storage for over a decade. Some of the pieces from this collection have been successfully TL tested and are currently be...ing offered to some top-tier auction houses. Unfortunately, this pieces was TL tested (results are not included) and does not appear to be ancient.
