Nippon Morimura Hand Painted Pink Roses & Gold Daisies Sauce Bowl C. 1911 - 1921
Pretty porcelain sauce / mayonnaise bowl with matching spoon/ladle and under plate. Nicely decorated with a border of hand painted pink rose garlands, raised gold gilt and white daisies, and gold moriage beading. With gold highlights to the three ball feet on the bottom of the bowl. Marked Hand Painted Nippon with an M inside a wreath. This mark was used by Morimura Brothers between 1911 and 192...1.
Has some minor wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.
The bowl measures 4 1/2" wide x 2 1/8" tall.
The under plate measures 5 1/2" wide.
The ladle measures 1 7/8" wide x 4 3/4" long.
The bowl measures 2 3/8" tall when sitting on the under tray.
These are an antiques and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display-ability of the pieces.
