This auction of for two Stunning examples of a mouth blown glass Altaglass bird figurines from Medicine Hat Alberta. One piece is a little dove/pigeon and is amber in color. He i...s 3 1/2 inches tall and 4 1/2 inches from the breast to the tip of the tail. The second bird is a clear glass penguin in the standing position. This little beauty is well defined. He is 4 1/2 inches high. He is 3 inches across from wing tip to wing tip. The inner glass is filled with bullicante air bubbles. The eyes are indented on both pieces and the beaks are tiny points. They are both in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks. The penguin has the black paper label on the underside of the base. It is also etched Altaglass Medicine Hat Canada 1981. The dove/penguin also has the black paper label and the maple leaf label. It is etched Altaglass Medicine Hat Can on the underside of the base. Both pieces are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Both of these pieces are solid glass and heavy. Please see the pictures to make your assessment of the piece.
