Offered here are two unusual compotes by W. T. Copeland & Sons. The taller one measures approximately 4.25" tall and 8.25" in diameter. The other is approximately 2.5" tall and 8.25" in diameter. The taller on has a hairline crack up one side of about 3/4 of the base. Both have very light crazing and a few extraneous light marks. Not bad since they were manufactured between the late 1800's and the early 1900's.
When I am listing pre-owned and vintage or a...ntique china or crystal, I expect that there may be some minor use marks, pin point size marks, small light brown spots, or paint loss. When I am listing clothing, unless marked new with tag , please understand that an item may have slight storage odors, slight age or storage discoloring, small marks, etc. This is normal for vintage merchandise. I try to describe anything that would be considered a major flaw, such as a rip, hole, discoloring, scratches, chips, crazing, or stains.
