Bauer California Vintage Pottery, (4) JADE GREEN 9 ¼” Plates
Check out these (4) lovely vintage JADE GREEN PLATES, manufactured by Bauer. These PLATES are marked "Bauer (Made in USA) Los Angeles" on the bottom. Each plate measures approximately 9 ¼” diameter. All (4) pieces are in good condition with normal age wear and usage. Individual pieces may show various amounts of wear, such as light scratching and scuffing but no cracks, chips or nicks or repairs. Photos are part ...of description and condition.

Bauer Pottery is one of the most collected of the California potters. In the 1920s and 30s, they marked pieces with "Bauer" and "Bauer Los Angeles" and in the 1940s and 50s, it was "Bauer Made in USA" or "Bauer USA". That said, not all of the wares are marked. As with most vintage Bauer pieces, pin heads, dimples and some glaze misses occurred. And as part of production they have three firing pin marks on the bottom of each piece.
