WELCOME Thisoffer is for a Vintage Roseville Pottery Company brown Gardeniaplanter box with handles, model number #668-8. It is marked on the bottom and made inthe early 1940’s. Itfeatures a large raised embossedwhite gardenia flower on each side with delicately sculpted green leaves. It has a bands of dark to light brown color ona some what texturedbackground. It measures: 10.0" longby 2.75" wide . It is marked on the bottom with incised lettering ~“Ro...seville, 668-8” It also has an artist mark. Themold is very crisp and sharp and the colors are very vibrant. The planter is in excellentcondition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs or damage. \ There are twopin holes on one of the flowers. Please refer to the photos as I tried topicture it. It is very clean, and asidefrom those to aforementioned pinholes, it has hardly anyof the usual characteristics of vintage pottery such as rough spots andmanufacturing imperfections like glaze pops, glaze misses and pin holes, causedduring firing ~ normal and very common to this type ofpottery. Makesure to review, enlarge and zoom each image for a careful close up of condition, color and size of this item as the photos are part of theitem description.
