Rare + original French army grenadier bag / musette. Heavy canvas / linen + leather construction. Features one large compartment and eight grenade pouches. Vintage condition, some of the stitching has come undone , a few pieces of leather are brittle + one of the rivets attaching the grenade straps to the bag has broken on one side. Overall, this is an exceptional military bag in great vintage condition. These have become increasingly hard to source, so it's likely you won't come acros...s another anytime soon. 1918 model VB grenade musette, I believe this would have been manufactured sometime in the 1940 - 50's. No visible marks or stamps.
