This offer is for an EMPTY cd Longbox by YES of the s/t album release called " Yes " . This longbox release was originally issued in thye 80's on the Atlantic Records label with a CAT. NR . :8243-2. The nostalgic CD LONGBOX was popular in record & cd stores during the early 1980's through the early 1990's . This cardboard longbox protected the condition of the cd & jewel case and provided a nice graphical marketing tool as well. The Longbox ...gave way, by the mid-90's, to the more simple form of shrink wrap protection. Now, only a select few titles become available in a longbox packaging for retail. These longboxes are in demand for avid fans adding to one's personal album or cd collection. You can Hang them on a Wall or Place them on a Shelf for Decor of your Office , Dorm Room , or Entertainment Area of your house. Many Collectors & Avid Fans today place and store their own cd's back inside the Longbox as well.
This Empty longbox measures 5 3/4" w X 12 1/2" h X 1/2" d . The cd was removed from the bottom of the longbox a number of years ago. The condition of this empty longbox is in good condition - with the original shrink wrap still intact - keeping the dimensional integrity. This longbox has Never been flattened or removed from its original shrink wrap . This longbox was cut open on the back side with a razor blade near the very bottom - about 1/8" inch from the very bottom from the bottom seam - to remove the cd a number of years ago. There is a light horizontal compression crease in the middle of the longbox on the front side - that is not too noticeable for front side viewing. Then compression crease in the middle put some light creasing in the middle of the left spine and right spine side in the middle. The creasing or compression on the spine sides is not too noticeable for front side viewing .
Again, this longbox is empty and No CD is Included with this purchase .
