The plate itself is decorated with a yellowish brownish slip decoration with green highlights representing a stylized tulip flower on a branch with leaves. The entire plate is glazed with a dark brown colored background. The back has the typical redware colo...r, is plain and signed by the artist.

Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece: This is a nice and substantial, but delicate piece weighing over 1 1/4 pounds. This piece is made in the best Pennsylvania Dutch style by a master potter with the right heritage.
Condition: Plate is in excellent like new condition with no chips, repairs, or hairlines. It does have crazing to the glaze.
