Large Amber Color Art Glass Bowl with Pedestal Foot, Signed HAWKES We are please to offer from our personal collection this large yellow amber color art glass bowl with pedestal foot. The bowl is signed HAWKES with the company's 1905 acid trademark on the center of its polished pontil. The foot and pedestal is thick and heavy. It supports the flared sides of the glass bowl handsomely. Other than a few interior scratches near the rim of the bowl, this piece is in super s...hape for its age! It has a lovely bell tone resonance when the side is gently tapped with an index finger or pencil. A great piece for the collector! It is approximately 9 1/2 inches in diameter. It weighs approximately 2 lbs.10 oz. Measurements are approximate, but close.Condition: We carefully examined this item. NO Chips, Cracks, Stains, Repairs or Restorations were noted. There are several scratches noted on the inside surface of the bowl just below the rim (see photographs). Other very faint, light, superficial scratches are also noted on the sides of the bowl's interior. These are not as noticeably distracting, but mentioned for accuracy.
