Here is a vintage 1930's Bauer Pottery orange Plain Ware 4" square ashtray. Bauer made a 3" and a 4" square ashtray. This is the larger size of the two. There is no Bauer makers mark on the bottom of the Plain Ware ashtrays. It is in excellent condition. There is a (factory) small piece of clay under the glaze. It has no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. It is solid, heavy and thickly glazed. The 4th photo shows a smaller 3" ashtray for size comparison. Please e-mail me any questions ...before bidding.
