Luciano Pavarotti, (12October 1935 – 6 September 2007) was an Italian operatic tenor who also crossedover into popular music, eventually becoming one of the most commerciallysuccessful tenors of all time. He made numerous recordings of complete operasand individual arias, gaining worldwide fame for the quality of his tone andeventually established himself as one of the finest tenors of the 20th century.Henry Nicola Mancini (bornEnrico Nicola Mancini; April 16, 1924 – June 14, 1994)... was an Americancomposer, conductor, arranger, pianist and flutist who is best remembered forhis many film and television scores. Often cited as one of the greatest composersin the history of film, he won four Academy Awards, a Golden Globe, and twentyGrammy Awards, plus a posthumous Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 1995. Hisbest known works include the theme and soundtrack for the Peter Gunntelevision series as well as the music for The Pink Panther film series and"Moon River" from Breakfast at Tiffany's.
