The WDB089 WPC driver board is a plug-in replacement for the original Bally Williams WPC89 & WPC-S Driver Boards (Parts A-12697-1, A-12697-3, and A-12697-4).Getting reboots when you hit your flippers or other random times? This board has a redesigned +5V power supply section, changed from the original linear supply to a super high efficient switching regulator. This regulator is 92% efficient and can deliver up to 8A of current. The other thing changed is the +5V supply is now +5.1...5V which will virtually eliminate 5V related reset problems.
