Amazing wood fired bottle by master potter Daniel Murphy. Murphy has been wood firing pots for 30 years and is a leading ceramics professor at Utah State University. This beautiful pot measures 4.5" high. Murphy's pieces are fired without applied glazes, to allow for the natural interaction of the clay, fire, and ash. Absolutely beautiful, one of a kind piece. Signed to the base as well as the lower edge.
