The band was comprised of former members of the legendary southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd, founded in 1979 by guitarists Allen Collins and Gary Rossington following the tragic 1977 plane crash which killed three members of Lynyrd Skynyrd, thus ending that band's career. But the Flight of the Freebird continu...ed when The Rossington Collins Band formed by Gary Rossington and Allen Collins with Billy Powell, Leon Wilkeson, Barry Harwood, Derek Hess and Dale Krantz carried on the southern rock genre that Skynyrd helped pioneer. This regional tour poster is for dates in June at Birmingham AL, Nashville TN, Chattaganooga TN and Mobile AL, supporting their freshly recorded album 'Anytime, Anyplace, Anywhere'.
