This is a lovely English fine bone china demitasse cupand saucer set, made by the Tuscan China Company. The dainty cup measures2 ¼” in height by 3 3/8” in width, including the handle, and the saucermeasures approximately 4 ¾” in diameter. Both pieces display a matching pattern that features brilliant gold trimand a bright white background decorated with pink and yellow flowers andtwo-tone green leaves. The cup has afooted base and both the cup and saucer have a... scalloped edge. Each piece is marked with the Tuscan greenink stamp, “Tuscan Fine English Bone Chine – Made in England” which indicatesthat this set was produced before 1967. The saucer also displays theprinted pattern number. Despite some manufacturing flaws, slight wear tothe gold trim and a few scuffs/surface scratches, this petite cup and saucerset is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or any evidence ofdamage.
