Hello, you are viewing my sale for a LARGE Antique Cast Iron Cauldron Cooking Pot With a Lid and a Handle.  This is an Oval Shape cooking vessel.  It weighs 23.2 pounds and measures 12" tall with the lid by 9" tall without the lid by 19" long by 14" deep.  The bottom section is made from cast iron and the top lid is made from some type of tin metal.  A magnet will stick to the entire cauldron.  This item was found inside of a slaughterhouse barn in New Jer...sey.  The farm is over 100 years old and this item most likely came from the original time period of the building of the barn.  It has a wonderful rusted aged patina throughout.  There is wear present however there are no breaks or repairs.  It is a lovely Country Decor Primitive Americana piece of cast iron.  Local pickup is accepted.
