Spode introduced their Trade Winds pattern in 1962 to rave reviews and produced it until 1993. Offered here is a 14 ounce 4” tall tankard. Note the tankard has flared sides. There is also a mug with straight sides so please check yours if you are trying to match pieces. The sailing ship featured is the Brig Olive of Newburyport as referenced on the bottom of the mug. There is a full description of the sailing vessel together with the Spode factory marks. This piece is in excellent co...ndition with no cracks, chips, or wear to the gold trim.
